M-1000P and XLS-1000P Pedals By Lee Jackson
I started experimenting with tube emulation through discrete components.
I have alway found DSP emulation to sucK and sound synthetic.
So I designed a tube emulator circuit, and then used it in place of a tube in several of my designs and proto'ed one up to hear it.
Well it blew my mind, the first amp circuit I tried it on was the M-1000 amp, then I built an pedal using the XLS-1000 circuit, and what was amazing they had the same characteristics as the original amps.
Of coarse they didn't have power amps, I tried them into the front of my Pro Junior amp
What was really amazing ,was the pedal into a SP-1000 into a 4-12 cab.....I was Blown away!
M-1000P
XLS-1000P

All of our pedals operate on (1) 9v battery,

Plus they come equipped with a dc Battery eliminator Jack: Negative Tip

It has the same controls as the original M-1000 Amp head. It's the Ultimate Distortion Pedal, Plug it into the front of your favorite amp. It's the Ultimate Instrument Preamp, plug into your favorite Poweramp, Effects Return. or Recording board.

It has the same controls as the original XLS-1000 Amp.Same as the M-1000P, It sounds great as a Distortion Pedal, and A Instrument Preamp. Both Pedals have Feedback, and Speaker Emulator switches.

The Feedback adds re-genitive signal which tightens the response, just like it does in a real Tube Amp.

The Speaker Emulator Switch changes the output to sound fatter, with better low end.It sounds like a mic'd cabinet.

I also included an Effects Loop for all your other pedals. (on the XLS-1000P it's foot switchable).
